Essex County has an online inmate lookup at eccorrections.org/inmatelookup. This is one of the best tools for finding recent bookings in the county. It is free to use. No account is needed. The tool searches the current roster at the Middleton House of Correction and shows results right away.
There are two ways to search. The first option lets you look up a person by name. You type in a first name, last name, and date of birth. The second option lets you search by an identifier like an inmate ID number. Pick the identifier type from a dropdown and enter the value. Both options pull from the same database of current inmates.
The search results for Essex County recent bookings show several key details:
- Current inmate roster status
- Booking dates for each arrest
- Charges and offense details
- Housing assignment in the facility
- Bond and bail amounts set by the court
- Expected release dates
Below is the Essex County inmate lookup page where you can search for recent bookings by name or ID.
